Firma powstała w 1935 roku kiedy jej założyciel Armand Petitjean zwiedzał zamek Lancôme. Tamże rosło wiele krzewów róż, stąd powstał symbol firmy.

La marca se fundó en 1935 cuando su dueno Armand Petijean estaba visitando un castillo  Lancôme. Alli habian muchas rosas, por eso en logo de  Lancôme hay una rosa.

The company was founded in 1935 when its founder, Armand Petitjean visited the castle Lancôme. There grew a lot of shrub roses, hence so today is the symbol of the company.

Spring has arrived, not only in my closet, but also in my make-up bag too. Only one thing is constant, the line with eyeliner. The first stars who did make up that famous dash was: Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren. Two divas, two beautiful women who are role model for millions to this day.
